I think this may be my only non-New England painting, but I just couldn’t help but paint Hawaii after I visited friends there. We visited the Big Island of Hawaii, and the inspiration for this painting wasa drive along the coast and a stop in Puna. The colors of the water and sky are amazingly vivid, and even the lava rocks were loaded with color! This Hawaii painting is 36” X 24,” and is framed in a birch floater frame.
